Sunday Selections #1
Hearts in Halves by Australian synth-pop group, Cub Sport, is the kind of song you think you’ve heard some where before, but can’t quite place where. Familiar but new.
Flume, Australian record producer, teams up with American singer-songwriter, Tory y Moi, to create The Difference. It’s a lot easier to listen to than most of this other songs with experimental sounds. I wasn’t into this song when it first got released, but lately I’ve been listening to it every morning, savoring the lyrics .
I used to love this song in college. No idea what made me think of it recently, but coincidentally all three artists in this post are from Australia. I’d describe this song as Daft Punk meets Pet Shop Boys. You might like the original song better if you’re a purist (boring).
