Bismillah, which means “in the name of Allah” , is the second track on the album, Quadrivium. It is the third album by British producer and DJ, Eric Lau.

If you’re wondering what the album title means, it’s not a made-up word, but the name of a medieval university curriculum involving the “mathematical arts” of arithmetic, geometry, astronomy, and music.

I usually don’t like entire albums, but I can listen to the whole thing with this one. His music is a collection of sequenced instrumentation that comprises of soothing hip-hop beats best for winding down or starting an easy morning.

Another amazing album full of instrumentals. Not a lot of information is out there about artist, Emapea, but he’s a Polish hip-hop instrumentalist known for his old school beats.

This one’s an oldie but a goodie by New York-based trip hop band, Wax Poetic. Norah Jones, whose vocals you hear in this song, was a member of the band until her break out in 2002.
